Through the Anacostia River Discovery Series, the Anacostia Watershed Society hosts free weekly recreational programming from May to September. Learn about the natural and cultural history of the Anacostia River on a guided canoe tour. Registration is required and limited for these events. This canoe tour is supported by revenue raised from the DC Bag Bill and provided by the District Department of Energy and Environment.
