This Earth Day Weekend, Mayor Muriel Bowser calls on all DC residents to get out and help keep DC clean by picking up trash in the places you care about: your home, your block, your park, your river. Join us on April 21!

Take 5 minutes to clean up outside your home, 30 minutes along your block, or team up with others for a full-neighborhood scrub! You can also join larger cleanup events hosted by the Mayor's Office of Community Relations and Services, ServeDC, and Anacostia Watershed Society.

Cleaning and protecting the Anacostia River starts at home and in our neighborhoods. The Mayor's Citywide Cleanup connects residents across the city with stewardship, building civic pride and a commitment to protecting the places we care about.
