Join The L'Enfant Trust and Ward 8 Woods Conservancy for a community volunteer clean up in Historic Anacostia!
The L'Enfant Trust and Ward 8 Woods are teaming up on Saturday, June 17 to host a neighborhood clean up in Historic Anacostia. Join us to help remove trash from the neighborhood streets, sidewalks, and adjoining parkland of Historic Anacostia.
Details:
Volunteers will meet at 10:00 am at Old Market House Square (2002 14th Street, SE)
End at 12:00 pm
We will supply trash bags & gloves
Bring comfortable walking or hiking shoes
Bring a water bottle
Wear full length pants and clothes you won't mind getting dirty

The L'Enfant Trust is a 501(c)(3) historic preservation nonprofit founded in 1978 to protect Washington, DC's historic communities. The L'Enfant Trust's Historic Properties Redevelopment Program has rehabilitated five severely dilapidated, long-vacant historic properties in the Anacostia Historic District for much-needed workforce housing. The L'Enfant Trust is currently working on its sixth rehabilitation project in the community.
