Join us for a walking cleanup from Stadium Armory Metro to Kingman Island and help us stop trash from entering the river!
After registering on Eventbrite, sign this waiver!
We’ll meet on the sidewalk outside the North entrance to Stadium Armory Metro, right across 19th St SE from the end of A St SE. We’ll walk to Kingman Island where we’ll sort and weigh the different types of trash we found. Students may be picked up at 6:30 PM from the main gate to Kingman Island via RFK Lot 6 at the far North end of The Fields, or students may walk back to head home via Metro.

4:15 PM Welcome and safety speech
4:30 PM – 6:00 PM Begin cleanup walking from Stadium Armory Metro to Kingman Island
6:00 PM – 6:30 PM Sort + Weigh Trash
— All equipment is provided, please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Rain or Shine. All supplies provided. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothing you can get dirty that will protect you from the brush.
