Sunday, April 10 at 4:00 p.m., join Kestrel Meadow of Sligo Creek for a late-afternoon walk in Kestrel Meadow, under the power lines that cross Sligo Creek, to see what wild plants are re-emerging from last fall's mowing of the meadow. Early spring is also a great time to learn more birdsong -- for some people many bird species are easier to find by sound than by sight. We'll all share what we know about the species we observe!

We will gather on the 1400 block of Drexel Street, Takoma Park (the downhill end of Drexel, in Carole Highlands). Our walks are free. Bring binoculars if you have some.

We will follow the CDC guidelines that do not require masks for fully vaccinated persons outdoors, but do recommend masks for those not fully vaccinated.
