The bird-themed board game Wingspan was an overnight hit when it was released in 2019, and has gone on to sell over a million copies in over 18 languages. Game creator and local naturalist Elizabeth Hargrave will give us a behind-the-scenes look at her own paths as a naturalist and a gamer. She'll share how she came to create Wingspan (and her other nature-themed games), the wild ride of Wingspan's surprising success, and the significance the game has had for both birders and gamers.
