This ribbon cutting is to officially mark the installation and opening of Mt. Rainier and Prince George's County first Bandalong Litter Trap, the first one of its kind in Maryland! 

Join Anacostia Riverkeeper, Mt. Rainier, Prince George's County, and Chesapeake Bay Trust in commemorating this new litter trap and celebrate the further elimination of trash and litter from entering the Anacostia River and Chesapeake Bay. The ribbon cutting will take place at the Arundel Canal at the intersection of 30th St and Arundel Rd with all members of the surrounding community invited to come out and witness another step forward in eliminating trash from our watersheds.
