The Lotus and Water Lily Festival is an annual event that celebrates global culture in the wild wetlands of Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens. At this free family fun celebration, visitors enjoy cultural exhibitors, hands-on activities, traditional Latin, Asian and African performances and the spectacular lotus and water lilies in full bloom!

Join the Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Garden for the park's signature summer event - The Water Lily & Lotus Cultural Festival. We'll have music, cultural arts and crafts, and live animal exhibit for kids. The lotus will be in full bloom and we'll need volunteers to work shifts throughout the day. Please bring your water bottle. Snacks and Lunch are NOTprovided.
Positions May Include:
Assisting National Park Service staff with set-up or breakdown, prior or post event, (i.e. setting up chairs, setting up a stage, moving coolers full of water, cleaning up trash)
Staffing the Welcoming Tent (i.e. being friendly, greeting attendees, answering questions)
Riding the shuttle bus to inform visitors about event
Key Requirements:
Able to stand for long periods of time
Stay for duration of shift, which is 2.5 hours
Be friendly and informative to visitors
