  • Earth Conservation Corps Pump House 1520 First Street Southeast Washington, DC, 20003 United States (map)

Join the Capitol Riverfront BID at the next 10 Years of Growth Speaker Series event, "River Revitalization," on Thursday, April 19th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm as we celebrate the progress of the Anacostia River and its positive impact on the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood with a panel discussion featuring Department of Energy & Environment Director Tommy Wells, reception featuring bites from The Salt Line, and boat tours along the water with Anacostia Riverkeeper and Anacostia Watershed Society.

2018 marks the "Year of the Anacostia," an invitation to celebrate the Anacostia River and its nearby communities, to honor its history, and to envision its future. The river serves as a valuable asset to the Capitol Riverfront community, providing recreational opportunities for this vibrant mixed-use urban waterfront neighborhood.
