Capital Bikeshare is very pleased to announce the installation of a new station located in Anacostia Park. This will be the first bikeshare station located on National Park Service property outside of the National Mall and the first located along the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail in Ward 8.

To celebrate this Capital Bikeshare will be hosting a kick-off event on Saturday, February 10th from 10am-12pm by the new station which will be in front of the Anacostia Pool and Recreation Center. Come out to participate in a quick demo on how to use Capital Bikeshare, get some tips on how to comfortably ride during the winter season, and get a free ride! Plus, there will be free coffee and hot chocolate to keep you warm.
