The Second Annual OAKtoberfest, a fall festival at the US National Arboretum, will be held on Saturday, October 27th.
Plans for this fall festival include a 5K fun run, tree-climbing for kids and adults, guided tours of the grounds, workshops, sales by local food and craft vendors, and a beer garden with live music. Family activities include a scavenger hunt, a costume parade, and a craft project. There will even be a visit from the Humane Rescue Alliance’s pet adoption van. The festival is free, though the 5K run and some other activities require pre-registration and a fee.
